simple lang ung game pero for some reason enjoy naman ako. nagkataon na halos lahat ng number or category, nakakasama ako. white shirt, freshies, white shoes, nakatali buhok- feeling ko dinedescribe lang ako eh. pero super fun especially nung variation na. i learned something very very important about my classmates :) and that is ANG KAKAPAL NG MGA MUKHA NILA. "lumipat ang mga tingin na gwapo o maganda sila" hindi pa nga natatapos ni maam ung sentence, takbuhan na agad. wala nang pakialam kung matag sila basta mapaaalam sa mundo na magaganda at mga gwapo sila HAHAHAHA. nalaman ko din na mayroong may mga crush sa class. sana nabuking na sila by now :)

variation:

para mas getting to know your classmates ang larong ito. the basic rules still apply, the class will be divided into two teams with each team staying in two opposite circles. one person (taya) will stay in the middle. but this time, another person (let's call him/her tagabulgar) will be the one to call out a category. once the tagabulgar says the category, each team will run towards the other circle but the taya will have to catch one person that he/she thinks fits the category (example: crush mo sa class). the one who gets caught will in turn be the taya for the next taya

note: pwede rin namang yung taya mismo ung magbibigay ng category. kung gusto niyang ibulgar sarili niya.

one of the main reasons why i really liked this game, aside from the obvious "i enjoyed it, it was really challenging, nanalo kami" was that I WAS REALLY GOOD AT IT. im so sorry kung ang yabang pakinggang pero grabe totoo naman eh. pati ako nashock sa sarili ko. talagang WOW I HAVE FOUND MY FORTE. walang takot akong sumusugod para makuha ang mga papel na nakadikit sa kanilang katawan. sobrang na-in the zone ako, sinambunutan(exag) ko na si russell kasi sa buhok niya inipit ung papel niya. WRONG MOVE RUSSELL BWAHAHA :)) pero really really enjoyable game.

variation:

same rules apply. the only new challenge is that both opposing teams will have papers attached to their bodies. whether you are on the offense or defense, you can disable the opponent by getting all four of their papers. the papers must be placed at the same area for everybody.

FAVORITE INVENTED GAME. sobrang struuugggle. ang dami mong elements na kalaban. ung paliit ng paliit na squares, ung pagdecide kung kaninong paa o kamay o baywang (?) ang gagamitin, ung pagbalance with each other, working as one unit, one person with plenty of body parts. tapos meron pa ung ikaw nasa pinakababa tapos biglang may tutulo sa pisngi mo. pawis pala ng mga kateam mong nasa taas YIIIIIIIKEEES. pero walang pakialaman kasi sobrang enjoy padin. lalo na ung third variation nung nagaagawan kami ng kabilang team sa pinakamalaking square. talsik ako eh HAHA.

variation:

each member of the team will be assigned a number. instead of just saying how many bodyparts you need to place inside the square, the leader will indicate which numbers' (that correspond to a certain member of the team) bodyparts must be inside the square. para mas struggglleeeee.

i liked this game because we looked so cute running around grouped in circles. i noticed that everyone was really game, ayaw magpatalo. lalo na si Jonathan, grabe ayaw talaga magpahuli. lahat nalang ginawa niya. para siyang fish out of water na nakahiga nalang sa sahig para lang di naman siya makuha :))) sobrang nakakatawa mukha niya nun . medyo nahiya ako kay JAY kasi ako ung nasa right niya, si Janel naman ung nasa left niya. hindi niya malift ng todo ung arms niya para makahuli kasi ang liit namin ni Janel :)) nahiya ako feeling ko naffrustrate na siya HAHAHAHA.

variation:

the same rules apply with the exception that once one group nalagay na nila ung isang tao sa kabilang team sa loob ng circle nila, kuha na nila ung taong yun. parang ung sa original game lang kaso di na kailangang hilain pa.

1. LABANAN SA MACTAN

most dramatic name award

i really enjoyed this game especially since PBA was on our team. he made the game very interesting for both teams HAHA. but even though we had him, our team kind of got OWNED. i don't think we ever won a round.

variation:

the rules of the last variation (where players tied handkerchiefs on their arms) still apply. on that variation, your handkerchief was your lifeline. if the opponent got it, BOOM you're dead. but on this variation, your handkerchief represents your loyalty to your king. if the opponent gets it, you don't die, you get captured. you will then serve the other teams king and be a warrior for him.

most self-conscious game award

this game was really chill...for me. and maybe for all the other girls in my team as well. as for the guys, well, they're out of breath, massaging their arms with sweat beads sprinkled all over their faces. i was really self-conscious with this game. who wouldn't, if you were the one being carried around for how many rounds. but at the same time i was really impressed with all of our guys. you could tell they were really really tired but they kept on going. game all the time. they knew that the teams success was resting on their hands. or arms.

variation:

the same rules apply. players will be divided into teams of equal number. two players will carry a third player by crossing their arms and racing to get to one point and back. the only difference is that instead of walking in a straight line, they must go through obstacles. like zigzagging through bottles. the first team who finishes wins.

4. LUKSONG BUYO

the rules of the game were simple enough. it's basically just jumping. with precision. while playing the game, i was amazed to learn how hard jumping could be. the first time i tried it, i failed HAHA and sent my team back at the starting line. i was kind of embarrassed. nobody wants to be the one who sends her team downhill. but after nang sumablay din ung ibang teams, i felt better. at least it happened sooner rather than later. at least nung sumablay sila, leading na kami HAHAHA. my teammates were really great. we were all nervous at first, but we managed to suck it up. and in the end we won.

variation:

the same rules apply. the players will be divided into teams and they will each take turns in jumping once towards a finish line. where ever the first player for each team will land, the next person will start there, and so on. both feet must land on the ground at the same time and the player must not tip over or fall. if these are violated, the whole team must go back to the starting line. the difference is that each player who is about to jump must first mark where he plans to land with a ring. he must land within that ring without violating all the other rules. if not, the whole team goes back to the starting line.

3. BIHAGAN

so far, this game has been my favorite. mostly because the game itself is so simple and yet it caught me off guard because how fun it was. at first i was hesistant to make a move on the opposing team. as did all my other teammates, i observed. but after a few seconds (seconds lang naman. napakaagressive nga naman ng class na to) the fun really began. nakakatuwa kasi everytime may team mate kang malapit na mahili to the dark side, lahat kayo hihilain siya pabalik, wala nang pakialam kung ano nasasaktan na ung tao o hindi. Nakakaawa din sa mga unfortunate people who were brave enough to charge forward, akala nila ang galing galing nila, pero ang dali din naman pala nilang nahila ng kabilang team.

variation:

the same rules still apply. two opposing teams will each form a line, facing and parallel to the other team. the objective of the game is to pull as much people from the other team to yours. once you have been brought over to the dark side you can not go back and must stay as their prisoner. in this variation however, everybody will be blindfolded. the only time you can remove your blindfold is when you have been captured by the opposing team. removing off blindfolds at any other time besides this will result to that person being disqualified from the game.

2. KARERANG ITLOG

first game na kinabahan ako. ung tipong nagiisip na ako ng paraan para maconvince si maam na nahheat stroke na ako. or allergic sa itlog. mas lalo pa akong kinabahan nung nalaman ko kung para saan ung pinadalang kutsara. pano kasi, kutsarita nadala ko. pero naisip ko na walang corny dito sa philippine games. so i just sucked it up and went with it. turns out, i was pretty good if i may say so myself. and so were my teammates. we were all pretty good actually. very calm when we needed to be but also very vocal in our encouragements and support for each other. it was one of those games wherein team spirit really showed.

variation:

the variation is still an egg relay wherein players will be divided into four groups. The objective of the game is still the same- all players in a team must relay their egg from one point to another and back without touching or letting the egg fall to the ground. In the event that this rule is violated, the person/s who violated it must go back to the starting line and begin again. the only difference is the manner in which the egg will be "carried". In this variation, each person in a team will partner with another in the same team. They must "carry" the egg using only their cheeks.

as the title suggests, pag uwi ko sa bahay "wow biglang lima na pasa ko sa tuhod". sobrang nakakagulat kasi habang naglalaro naman, wala akong nararamdaman. sobrang enjoy, sobrang competitive kasi. nadala ako sa mga team mates ko, sineryoso talaga nila kaya ako todo effort na din tuloy. pero ang problema, pati ung kalaban ko ganun. nagtititigan nalang kami sa mga ankles ng isa't-sa, hindi na kami nagpapansinan ng mukha. kaya nung isang beses nung pagpito ni ma'am, kasi masyado kaming nakaconcentrate na mahampas ung ankle, nagkauntugan kami ng ulo. ung klaseng hinog na hinog pa ang tunog ng pagkauntog.

variation:

the original game required us ONLY to tap our opponents' ankles as much times as possible. the player who has the most number of taps wins. In this variation however, three ribbons will be tied at each of the players ankles. That's 6 riboons per player. And this time your movements aren't only limited forwards and backwards but in all directions. And instead of tapping the ankles, you must get all 6 ribbons of your opponent. The first player to do this wins. This can be played between two people or in a group of 3-5.
